The “Energy Efficiency Award in Industry – Construction 2022, TOP RUNNER 2022” was officially launched on August 26 in Hanoi. The ceremony was organized by the Steering Board of the Vietnam National Energy Efficiency Programme – Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), in cooperation with the Viet Nam Energy Conservation and Energy Efficiency Association (VECEA).

The awards are organized to honor enterprises in industrial production, and outstanding construction projects in the implementation of solutions for energy efficiency consumption. At the same time, it honors the leading firms in manufacturing and trading energy-saving products with higher efficiency, thereby, encourage shifting the market and gradually eliminating low-efficiency products.

The applications will be open between August 26, 2022 until the end of October 31, 2022. After the application period ends, the technical judges will evaluate and select the projects, products and enterprises that fulfill the criteria for awarding. The awarding ceremony is expected to take place in December 2022.

This is one of the communication activities implemented under the Viet Nam – National Energy Efficiency Programme for the 2019-2030 period (VNEEP3).
