Today, 6 July 2021, the first day of the hybrid training course “Green Hydrogen & Power to X” co-hosted by GIZ and Electricity and Renewable Energy Authority (EREA) officially took place and welcomed the valued attendees from the Central Economic Commission (CEC), Electricity and Renewable Energy Authority (EREA) and Oil, Gas & Coal Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT)), Vietnam Oil & Gas Group – Petro Vietnam (PVN), Institute of Energy (IE) and Vietnam Petroleum Institute (VPI).

The activity lasts for 3 days from July 6th to July 8th and consists of 8 different modules. The training fees are 100% sponsored by GIZ.

The training aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the entire green H2 & PtX value chain and look at the opportunities of green H2 & PtX in the future energy system. After this course, the participants will be qualified to realistically assess the potential for the production, application and, if necessary, export of green H2 & PtX in the Vietnamese context.

The activity is within the framework of 4E Project, which is cooperated between the Vietnam Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ.
