GEPP is a new initiative being developed by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), in close partnership with the Verband kommunaler Unternehmen (VKU) that aims at facilitating peer-to-peer exchange between German Utilities and utilities or other key energy entities in Asia to increase the involvement of German community-led companies in development cooperation. Through deployments of up to 3 months, experts from German Utilities can support a peer organisation in an Asian country on a very concrete, strategically important task and thereby contribute to the countries energy transition and build new experiences and knowledge that can be of strategic value to their own utility in Germany.

GEPP is now going into its pilot phase with 5 exciting opportunities in India, Mongolia, Nepal and Viet Nam! More information about the programme and the concrete opportunities can be downloaded here.
