The PtX Outreach Project has been helping Viet Nam lay the groundwork for green hydrogen (GH2) & Power-to-X (PtX) development. This involves adding sustainability aspects to the industry, sharing international expertise in designing legal frameworks, and capacity building for policymakers & educational institutes.  

The Project includes four fields of activities:   

1. Assessment & advice on the sustainability of PtX projects & policies  

• Study on crucial sustainability criteria for Viet Nam’s PtX industry  

2. Analysis and dialogue on regulations & technical standards  

• Roundtable discussions on experience with international and national companies  
• Study on technical standards in PtX industries  

3. “PtX scoping” of Viet Nam  

• Study on strategy for oil, gas and chemical industry  
• Analysing the Vietnamese industrial sectors and identifying their defossilisation potentials with PtX  
• Application of green ammonia for the power production industry  

4. International PtX Academy: knowledge building on PtX worldwide  

• 02 “Training of trainers” (ToT) courses  
• 03 training courses for private and public stakeholders by Vietnamese trainers  
• Organising study trips on technology potentials
