From 14 – 18 November 2016, the Capacity Development component under Support to the Up-scaling of Wind Power implements 5-day Workshop on Wind Power Project Development at EVNGENCO1.

Objective and Contents of the Workshop:

• The objective is to provide in-depth knowledge and skills to develop a Wind Power Project and its related documentation with an emphasis on Vietnam.
• During the Workshop we will guide participants in developing a real wind farm site in Vietnam based on actual available wind measurement data. Thus the Workshop is designed as a practical on the job training, so that participants will gain hands on experience. Our particular aim is to share our practical experiences from numerous projects conducted around the world.
• The contents will comprise exercises for the full wind farm development cycle from wind measurements, feasibility planning and technical design, bankable energy yield assessment up to the tendering and contracting of wind turbine equipment.
