The Week is hosted by The Electricity Regulatory Authority of Vietnam (ERAV) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in Viet Nam. It is part of the Smart Grids for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (SGREEE) Project, which is jointly implemented by ERAV of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), and GIZ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). This is the first national event on the topic of Smart Grid in Viet Nam.
Topics of the week:
- Day 1 (December 2) is the official opening of the Smart Grid Week, which includes speeches of high-ranking officials of MOIT, ERAV, German Embassy, and GIZ as well as presentations by EVN and international speakers.
- Day 2 (December 3) titled “Power System Innovation Day” will focus on emerging power system technology solutions and business models for the “Industry 4.0”.
- Day 3 (December 4) titled “Smart Grid Symposium Vietnam” will be a knowledge exchange between power system experts and academia.
- Day 4 (December 5) named “Future Lab: Internet of Energy” will open discussion forums about visions for the power system of the future.
