The Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in Viet Nam and the General Directorate of Energy, Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) will co-organize an Inception Workshop of the ”National assessment of development potential of grid-connected solar photovoltaic projects in Viet Nam until 2020 with a vision to 2030”. The activity is part of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (4E) Project.
As part of the workshop, the methodology and preliminary calculation of the National potential of ground-mounted solar PV in Viet Nam will be shared with participants. At the workshop, the local consultants from the Institute of Energy will present the methodology for solar PV potential assessment and grid planning. International consultants will also share international experiences on solar energy planning and the booming solar industry.
