The EU – Viet Nam Energy Facility (EVEF) has launched a Request for Expression of Interest to offer Technical Assistance to non-MOIT stakeholders.

The Facility invites the stakeholders from ministries and public institutions at national and provincial level (who do not belong to Ministry of Industry and Trade) and other key energy stakeholders from the private sector, higher education and research institutions, and from the civil society to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) to receive EVEF’s support in the four areas including: Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Energy Access, and Energy Information.

There will be at least two Requests for Expression of Interest in the period 2019 – 2021. The thematic focus area of the first Request in June 2019 is “Information Matters – Improving Public Knowledge and Policy Dialogue on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency”. 

Only Expression of Interests which have direct link and address this thematic focus area will be considered for Technical Assistance from EVEF.

Requested Technical Assistance should belong to one of the following types of activities: technology transfer, capacity building and awareness raising, and/or regulatory framework.

The deadline for submissions of Expression of Interest is 12:00 (noon), Viet Nam time, 14 August 2019.

Eligible activities must have an implementation period of maximum 12 months with an estimated cost of minimum EUR 50,000 and maximum EUR 200,000.

The technical assistance should be tentatively implemented from December 2019 to November 2020.
