Laura Gutiérrez is a Technical Advisor for the CIRTS project. She works with critical Viet Namese institutions to advance the development and integration of solar power.
Her work has centred around renewables and the energy transition for more than ten years. Laura Gutiérrez has extensive experience in long-term energy planning, energy system decarbonisation, and variable renewables integration in the power system.
Previously, she worked as an energy analyst and joined GIZ as a Technical Assistance Coordinator. Her focus has been on the regions of Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa, and the European Union. She holds a BSc. in Mechatronics Engineering and a double MSc in Energy Economics and Management.
