On 27 May 2021, GIZ in cooperation with the Electricity and Renewable Energy Authority (EREA)/Ministry of Trade and Industry (MOIT) and the Renewables Academy (RENAC) organized a virtual exhibition on Technology Cooperation in the Vietnamese Bioenergy Sector.

The three-hour exhibition displayed state-of-the-art technologies in bioenergy as well as opportunities for technology partnerships.

Keynote speakers giving presentations at the exhibition are high-profile experts from Viet Nam and other countries: Mr. Steven Paver, Factory Engineering Consultant at Booker Tate Limited, Mr. Carsten Linnenberg, CEO of AD Solution, Mr. Nguyen Hong Long, Director, Center for Creativity and Sustainability (CCS). In addition, representatives from 10 international technology providers and 2 Vietnamese companies showcase their biomass and biogas technology innovation and projects to participants from universities, research institutes, engineering consultants, and project developers.

The exhibition is within the framework of the “Climate Protection through Sustainable Bioenergy Markets in Viet Nam” (BEM) project.
