"Energy Management System based on ISO50001" Training for Small Energy efficiency group (SEEG)

On August 27, the training session on Energy Efficiency for enterprises will take place online. This activity is part of the capacity building program of the Small Energy efficiency group (SEEG) to support key energy-consuming firms, implemented within the cooperation of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

More than 40 officials/engineers/technicians from 12 key energy-consuming enterprises in the Northern part of Viet Nam will participate in this training session. Joining the training will be companies in key industries of Viet Nam such as textiles; packaging; steel, mining, food processing;... The "Energy Efficiency" training is one of the activities of the Small Energy efficiency group (SEEG) program to support key energy-consuming companies. With the aim of helping key energy users improve their energy management capacity in the workplace, the training helps participants gain deeper knowledge about the ISO50001 energy management system. By which, they will have the opportunity to apply the practical knowledge to build an economical and efficient energy consumption plan in their business. The program also sets the foundation for participants to improve their professional knowledge, and to acquire practical experiences from guest speakers to support the energy efficiency implementation in their own business. 

After this training, companies will continue to receive direct advice to complete the Facility Energy Efficiency Action Plans (FEEAP) and to implement it at their factories, towards the goal of enhancing energy efficiency.
