GIZ in cooperation with the Electricity and Renewable Energy Authority (EREA) of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Renewables Academy AG (RENAC) will organise a series of webinars for engineers, ideally working engineering firms and consultancy companies on the technical assessment and opportunities of the bioenergy market in Viet Nam.

Time:

- Webinar: 29th September to 27th October 2021

- Online learning: 27th September to 23rd October 2021

With support from a team of international experts, the training will address the main topics:

- A general understanding of the bioenergy market (including specifics of biogas, biomass application, Pre-FS analysis,…)

- The approval process, technical and economic calculation of pilot projects, and the legal framework and supporting mechanism.

The webinar series fall within the framework of the “Climate Protection through Sustainable Bioenergy Markets in Viet Nam” (BEM) project, which is implemented by GIZ and the EREA/MOIT and funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU).
